An exquisite pillow tailored with a very special vintage fabric in pure silk from our archieve. This magnificent figured Silk Lampas on green satin ground was handwoven by the storied French Maison ‘Le Manach’ in the 90’s. Lampas is a complex textile typology which requires two warp systems and interworking wefts, traditionally woven manually on a narrow wooden loom. These fabrics are only about 50cm wide as these looms and the weaving process is complex, very time consuming and requires highly skilled artisans and is therefore rare and precious.
