Founded in 2016 by the Interior Designer Katrin Herden who has been working with special textiles for over 30 years in international design projects with her partner, a former astro physics.
SOHIL combines her passion for exquisite fabrics and a special sense of color and style with his knowledge in technology and business.
The name SOHIL expresses this combination; it is of Persian origin and means ‘Beautiful’, further it refers to ‘Canopus’, the second Brightest Star in the Sky.
They chose the name Sohil because it reflects their love for beauty and esthetics, as well as their dedication to detail and precision.
