Handwoven tribal fabric from central Africa, made with strands from raffia palm leaves. Kuba cloth often has a distinctive pattern achieved by layering the raffia cloth, though this example has a pattern made with a cut pile, like a velvet. Backed with stonewashed Italian linen and trimmed with a brush fringe in the same natural shade.
